Cement Silo Aeration Box
Aerating box is a pneumatic homogenizing device for cement industry, feeding or mixing the powdery materials. It is applicable for different types of raw material silo, storage silo and hybrid homogenizing silo. It has mainly four categories which are rectangular shape, right angle trapezoid, isosceles trapezoid and the special form. It is characterized with simple structure, reliable performance, silent, easy maintenance, homogeneous mixing and so on, and is widely used in the cement industry. It is the indispensable equipment for cement production and raw material storing and mixing.
●Technical Parameters
1. mixing material: dry powdery material, allowing surface water content :< 1%;
2.air permeability:<3 m3/m2·min;
3.air pressure :< 4 kg/cm2;
4.air permeable layer resistance :< 1200Pa;
5. air permeable material: synthetic polyester mixed permeable layer.
●Array, Shape and Installation
When considering the array of aerating box in the silo, in principle, the ratio of actual array area among the total area should be as big as possible. This is more important for the mixing silo and the central area of mixing homogenizing silo (mixing area). Now here six basic arrangement forms with A, B, C, D, E, F are introduced for selection.
1) A and B types array (see drawing 2 and drawing 3) are applicable for the cement or raw materials mixing homogenizing silo under Φ12 m. Annulus zone aerating silo is installed inclining to the centre; the central aerating silo is installed horizontally.
2) C type (see drawing 4) is applicable for the cement or raw material mixing homogenizing silo over Φ12 m. Annulus zone aerating silo is installed inclining to the centre; the central aerating silo is installed horizontally.
3)D type (see drawing 5) is applicable for variable kinds of cement or raw material storage silo. Annulus zone aerating silo is installed inclining to the centre; the central aerating silo is installed horizontally. But the central zone is smaller.
4)E type (see drawing 6) is applicable for variable kinds of cement or raw material storage silo and agitating silo. Annulus zone aerating silo is installed inclining to the centre; the central aerating silo is installed horizontally.
5)F type (see drawing 7) is applicable for variable kinds of cement or raw material agitating silo. All the aerating silos are installed horizontally.
Each of the six basic arrays has its own advantages, disadvantages and scope of application, so the designer and user should choose the suitable one according to the actual situation. The need of aerating zone's number should be based on the actual situation, but it must follow requirements of four, six, eight or twelve zones.

The specification of the homogenizing silo, dimension factor of the aerating box should be provided when place the order or we could customize by the draft of silo's bottom which provided by the customer.
